I’m glad my son wasn’t born in the UK

June 24, 2008

I’m glad my son wasn’t born in the UK. There they spirit the dad away from the kid and mom right after birth. When Clark was born I was present at my wife’s side during the whole procedure, sang to my son and let him hold my finger when he was born, and then spent the night with them at the hospital before heading home. That’s how involved I think a father should be.
